Dr. Stephenson is a 2008 graduate of Auburn University where she also received her masters degree in Biomedical Sciences. She was raised in Newnan, GA. on a cattle farm. Her family are Brangus breeders. Her veterinary medical interests include ultrasound, endocrine disease and general wellness. “The most rewarding aspect of veterinary medicine for me is having the privilege of being the pet’s advocate and working to strengthen the human-animal bond through disease prevention and client education.” Her interests are traveling, reading and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs, Boss and Stella.

Dr. Newsom has lived and practiced in the Marietta area for over 20 years. She is a general practitioner with special interests in internal and reproductive medicine, veterinary surgery and ultrasound. Dr. Newsom has participated in extensive training and teaching in veterinary ultrasound. Her memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, Cobb County Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Ultrasound Society.
